The Quela red wine from the Klinec estate is produced with a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

The Klinec farm is located in the border area called Goriska Brda, or Slovenian Collio. Aleks and his family run the estate with respect and rediscovery of local traditions.

Quela is vinified with red grape varieties of Merlot 60%, Cabernet Franc 30% and Cabernet Sauvignon 10%, native red grape varieties. The old vineyards have their roots in a terroir of Ecocene origin, with the presence of thousand-year-old fossils and minerals of mountainous and river origin. The richness of the Collio from the point of view of the soil and the mild climate make this area one of the most suitable for agriculture and the vinification of excellent wines.
