Chapuis Freres "Bourgogne Aligotè" 2020 #Aligotè
15,40 €
Me and Jordy Geller, he is from Nevada. We both have (at least) one thing in common:
we are obsessed with something. Jordy Geller owns 2388 pairs of shoes, well exactly 2388 pairs of Nike.
In 2013 he got the award as the biggest sneaker collector.
I'm obsessed with nat wine, I'm trying to collect as many bottles as possible but it's harder than with the shoes.
Corks pop up and I have to re-collect, again!
It happens a lot with the Aligoté; tangerine and white flowers, it is very precise and straight forward, aperitivo approved.
Year: 2020
Degree: 12%
Alsace
Ideal for: sneakers obsessed

Producer: Chapuis Freres
A former itinerant winemaker (Lebanon, Australia), then working with Philippe Pacalet, Romain Chapuis joined forces with his brother Jean-Guillaume in Côte de Beaune, in the heart of Pommard.
The two brothers, whose family is rooted in the Aloxe-Corton vineyard, decided to open a trading activity in 2009.
The philosophy of their production is the choice of the best organic grapes, and a vinification coming out of local traditions: no sulfur, no indigenous yeasts, in short, natural Burgundy.
